POM塑胶原料在成型加工时，对于温度和速度各个方面的要求也并不是那么苛刻的，一般中等压力或者是中等速度都是比较适合其进行成型加工的，同时在模具温度较高的温度条件下，它也能够很好的成型，当然这只是正对与普遍的成型产品而言，如果是一些较为精密的生产制品，那么在成型加工时，可能对温度就会有可以的要求，就会需要对模具的温度进行人为的控制，不能过于随意，聚甲醛材料本身的比热是比较大的，所以它的模具温度通常都会要求控制在80至100摄氏度的稳定温度之间，同时在对生产制品进行脱模处理的时候，是非常烫的，温度甚至有可能直接烫伤手指，并且在注塑的过程中，它的保压压力相对来说是比较大的，所以要求要与注射的压力差不多，这样才能有利的减少产品的压力降。
