PC mechanical properties: polycarbonate has excellent mechanical properties, especially its impact strength and dimensional stability. PC耐老化性和耐燃性 聚碳酸酯的耐热老化性能也相当好，若将其薄膜放置空气中长时间加热，其性能变化很小。聚碳酸酯是可燃的，火焰呈淡、冒黑烟；氧指数仅25%，离开火焰自熄。一般加入卤化物、三氧化二锑、氢氧化镁、磷酸和红磷等改性提高阻燃性。

PC热性能： 在通用工程塑料中，聚碳酸酯的耐热性还算是较好的，其分解温度在300℃以上，长期工作温度可高达120℃；同时它具有良好的耐寒性，脆化温度低达-100℃；其长期使用温度范围是-60~120℃。
